Evaluation of your blogging experience

Hello again my friends, today I will talk about my experience using blogs. This experience began in the english class of my career public administration, so it was not a voluntary activity, it was a mandatory activity but in the end it was a nice experience for me because I could improve my writing in english. I spoke about different things, This part it was very interesting because I could meet different things and subjects and think about them. Other thing that I liked in this activity it was read the blogs of my classmates and made comments about them. In the future I expect the activity can improve in different ways like more sessions with the blogs, more difficulty in the blogs. I will want to write in the blogs about public policy, political science, international relations, national present and international present, sports, music. I really like this subjects because they are part of my career and they are very interesting the blog that I liked a lot it was "talk about your dreams" because I wrote about be a firefighter and work like a permanent firefighter here in Chile. So I hope the blog activity may continue and make some improves.

Talk about your dreams

Hello again my friends, today I will speak about my dreams. One of my dreams it is back to be a firefighter, yes I was a firefighter for three years but for lack of time I could not follow. by the way if I had the opportunity to be full-time firefighter I would without hesitation because it is the best activity in the world, for my bad here in Chile, the firefighters do not have a salaried, yes, believe it or not the firefighters are volunteers. It is the only country in the world with this system. Be a firefighter it's the best because we can help the people when they are in dangerous moments and also help without anything in return it's the most. Other reason to be a firefighter it's the friends that you make because they are true friends and for the rest of your life. the thing that may stop me it´s the time because I study in the university and I do other activities but I need to find some of time to be a firefighter again because I like a lot. I admire John Fitzgerald Kennedy (May 29, 1917 – November 22, 1963), commonly known as Jack Kennedy or by his initials JFK, was an American politician who served as the 35th President of the United States from January 1961 until his assassination in November 1963. Kennedy served in the second world war like lieutenant in the united states navy. He was part of the Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron, his first command was PT-101. He studied in Harvard university international affairs and political science. I like kennedy because he is a men what feel the public service in his own skin one proof of this it is his service for his country in the great war and also his career as a politician like senator and president. In his mandate like president he had to face many challenges like the cuban missile crisis, the african-american civil rights movement, the space race against the soviet union, the building of Berlin wall. one of the phrases that I like when  he said in his inaugural address "Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." He asked the nations of the world to join together to fight what he called the "common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself".




                                                         

My favorite photo

Hello my friends, today i will speak about the photograph that i like. This photograph was taken in May of 2012 in the Everest mountain. this photo show the Chilean expedition when the expeditioners did the climb to the top of the mountain. the photo was taken for Rodrigo Jordán he it's a very important mountaineer here in my country. He was the first Chilean to conquered the top of the Everest in 1992 and also it's the only one Chilean to climb the Everest twice. This photo is a little weird because does not show the top of the mountain but show the other view, this view is the effort of mountaineers for climb the mountain and conquer the climb. I like this photo because I really enjoy the mountaineering. This activity give a lot of values to those who practice like effort, fellowship, leadership, teamwork. But the value I enjoy more it is no competition with others in this activity because in the mountain the only competition it is with yourself.

How sports can improve chilean life standards

Hi again my fellows, today I will speak about the public policy in sports and how the sports can improve the life of the people in my country where the index of obesity is too high. I think the sports are very important for the people in general because the practice of any sports give benefits like improve in our health, improve our mental status, improve our energy for the differents activities during our days. So every person should practice sport but in Chile the majority of the people don´t practice sport. I believe people do not play sports because they don´t have a lot of time during the week to dedicate time to himself, the Chilean people work a lot thats it´s a problem. other reason, the expensive of some sports activities like the gym or zumba class not the all people can access to this type of distractions, the government or mayoralty should give solutions for the different people who can´t access to the sports activities. My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology is the laptop. I bought two years ago and is special for me because I got it with my own work so I care a lot and also occupy a lot because it is quite important in the life of a college student. I like the laptop because you can do different things such as communicating with friends who are far away, playing video games, information on national and international issues, see television series that do not exist in Chile as "Chicago Fire" or "The Americans "know about the reality of other parts of the world, learn different things. Without my laptop I would be little statement with my friends and I would be a bit boring life because today everything happens in life for a computer.

Activities at the university and more

Hello again to all my friends, in this time I will speak to my term in my university. First of all, I have a lot of subjects like statistics, accounting, law, etc. This term it is very boring for me because I don´t have a lot of time for other activities but always I have time for some sports like running. In this term I want to join a firefighter company in my town “Ñuñoa” so that it´s a big challenge for me. One of my favorite activities it´s political participation in the socialist party of my country. I hope to meet all the challenges posed by this semester. Take care.

Biography of Mauricio Morales

Hi, my name is Mauricio Morales. I have 23 years old I was born on March 11Th of 1992 and I live in Santiago of Chile. I study public administration at Universidad de Chile, before that I studied law in the same university was very boring. Also I was a navy cadet in the navy school. I have a lot of interests like the public policy, the international relations, politics, leadership and human development. In Santiago I live with my parents and my brother. I have a lot of hobbies like running, reading, go out with some friends, and ride my bike. I like a soccer team called la “U” or Universidad de Chile; I am very fanatic of my club.
